Private Business Corporation
The Private Business Corporation (PBC) is an alternative to the Private Limited Company that is less prevalent but nonetheless functional. It is mostly utilized by small enterprises or home industries that seek to standardize their operations, as well as professionals such as attorneys, accountants, engineers, architects, and others who want to work as consultants, contractors, or partners. It protects the firm owners' personal money in the same manner as a Private Limited Company does. It has members rather than stockholders and directors. The member's financial obligation is limited to the amount of money they put into the business when it is formed.
